The Chair of Microeconomics at the Friedrich Schiller University Jena (Germany) organized the workshop in order to stimulate an in-depth discussion of empirical and conceptual papers on R&I policy approaches that address cooperative and systemic innovation structures and processes. The workshop is part of the research project “Survey on Networking in Knowledge Generation and Innovation: Rationale, Mechanisms and Policy Relevance (NetSurvey)” funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).

The First International ECCE Summer School on Entrepreneurship in Europe held in Madrid (UAM) offers the chance to participate in an one-week intensive study program to work on business idea under expert supervision. From the 3rd to the 8th of July 2016, the Workshop will focus on the key aspects that entrepreneurs must take into account when creating a new business: (a) communication and culture, (b) strategy, (c) marketing, (d) finance and (e) accounting and internal control. Additionally students will work in groups with international peers on the refinement of their business plans, train their pitching skills in front of entrepreneurs and academics from all over Europe in order to be prepared to win the final business plan competition.
